Queen Mary University London and the Environment Agency are offering two training sessions for people wishing to participate in the new Modular River Survey. Two sessions are available, one for those wishing to participate in the survey and also for those wishing to become trainers and course leaders.

Description: The one-day course is a training session for volunteer surveyors and citizen scientists who have experience of river surveys e.g. riverfly, flow or water quality etc, and who are also interested in recording physical habitat data.

Experience: MoRPh training is for practitioners and citizen scientist volunteers who are already actively involved in river biological (or other) surveys e.g. riverfly monitoring.

2-day course CANCELLED NEW DATE TBC
Description: The two day course is a 'train the trainers' session for Riverfly Hub leads, catchment partners and practitioners working with volunteer groups and involved in river monitoring. Volunteers who are interested in being MoRPh 'champions' I.e. helping others with field survey and maybe with data QA etc, are also welcome on the 2-day training.
Date: 28-29th June 2016
