The annual River Lea Catchment Conference took place on 23rd January 2019, at Bayfordbury Science and Learning Centre, coordinated by Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust, who are the Catchment Hosts for the River Lea. Read more...

At the catchment meeting in January 2015, the MIddle Lea Catchment Partnership decided to make eels a focal species for the catchment.  A smaller project group was formed, to investigate where the barriers to eel passage were in the catchment, and to see what could be done to overcome these barriers.
