33. Mink Control

- To monitor the status of the river and its species to gauge if its condition is improving
Project description
Montior and control invasive American mink on the River Beane as part of the Water Vole Reintroduction Project.
This project will use mink rafts to monitor, trap and remove invasive American mink from the River Beane in preparation for the reintroduction of water voles. We will require volunteer mink raft monitors as well as riparian landowners who are happy to have mink traps on their stretch of the River Beane.
