Learn about the ecology of your local chalk stream and help protect it from pollution - become a Riverfly Monitor on the Ash or Mimram.

We are looking for more Riverfly Monitors to join our teams on the Ash and Mimram. Once a month, volunteers undertake a survey to monitor the health of the river and report any pollution events.

A day's training is offered in kick sampling and identification of the eight groups of pollution sensitive Riverflies, and your Riverfly Coordinator will help find a sutiable, local site to monitor.
