During February half term 2020 families were invited to take part in 'Wildplay by the River'.
Despite the rain the group were enthusiastic and ready to explore. With wellies and raincoats and big smiles, the children and their parents explored the banks of the river looking for birds and listening for their calls. Everyone tried hard to spot the kingfisher that lives along the banks. After a game of pooh sticks the group investigated the life that lives in the river. To finish the session the children took up litter-pickers and cleaned the banks of the river of litter.
