Project description
- During the final two years of this investment period, Thames Water is spending £1.12 billion in their sewage treatment works (STW). This includes £650 million to improve resilience and provide extra capacity at many of their sites. Over the same period, Thames Water will spend £470 million on the wider sewer network.
- This has been their largest ever upgrade of sewers and STWs, with plans to improve more than 250 of their sites.
