Eel pass

Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust (HMWT) together with support from Environment Agency and the Lee Valley Regional Park Authority, has installed two new eel passes in the Lower River Lea to aid eel migration from the River Thames.

Volunteers are required to form a Riverfly Monitoring Group for the Lower Lea.

The next Riverfly training course for the catchment is planned for 14th March 2015 at Digswell on the Mimram.  Why not come along?  Although based on the Mimram, the course is open to anyone from the Lea Catchment.
