Objectives:

  • Increase public engagement and participation

Project description

The SuDS for Schools project is working with ten schools in the Pymmes Brook catchment in North London to design and build Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) in the school grounds.

This project shows how SuDS can improve river health, and demonstrates how SuDS can be integrated into school grounds.  The project has provided schools with a range of water and wetland related learning opportunities and enables children to play an active role in the stewardship of their local environment.
