Our chalk rivers on Three Counties Radio
Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust's Charlie Bell was interviewed on BBC Three Counties Radio on 19th Feb. She was talking about our rare local chalk streams, including the Beane and Mimram, and the Catchment Management Plan.
Charlie, who is the Hertfordshire Living Rivers Officer, was talking to afternoon show host Nick Coffer. They chatted about the rarity and special wildlife of our local rivers, why they are important, and the threat of abstraction. They also discussed the Beane & Mimram Catchment Management Plan, and how people could get involved.
