Help monitor the state of the River Lea and its wildlife by joining the Thames Water Blitz.

The River Lea is a major tributary to the River Thames and so has a significant impact on its water quality and quantity. Nutrient pollution (phosphates and nitrates) and sediments in the whole network of streams, lakes and rivers can degrade the important ecosystems they support.

The next Thames Water Blitz will take place on Monday (25 April) and there is another one planned for Monday 3 October.

If you'd like to take part on either day, register on the Water Blitz site to receive your free test kits.
