Guided walk 24/07/2017 Lea Valley Regional Park.

Join Herts Living Rivers Officer David Johnson and fisheries team from LVRPA for a 3 Km circular walk of the Old River Lea and Lea Flood Relief channel to learn about the fish habitats of the River Lea. The walk includes a stop to observe the annual Environment Agency fish survey of the river allowing you to get an up close look at the some of the fish species including the impressive barbel and learn more about the fisheries management work undertaken to protect them. This walk is organised and delivered by the Lower Lea Catchment Partnership barbel subgroup.
